I don't draw very well.
So when I was designing this, I actually took a photo of my earring and used its shape as the base to run the action.
I hope you like it and please leave me some comments.
I know sometimes we tend to think that the designer/blogger already has many comments and/or you are not sure if she reads it.
Well, being new and not having many feedback, I really really appreciate if you would write something if you read this and download my stuff.
I don't ask for long "thank you" notes, a "smilie" would also make my day.
Oh, if you like metal bits, please check out here where "Paisley" is still waiting for more comments before it get posted up for you.
(Note that the download is for the metal paisley only, the paper are from someone else's freebies)
For this metal swirl, download here.

My hobbies
Using the kit "My Little Land" from one of my favourite designers, Choubinette.
I made the wired-string though... Want it? Give me a shout! ^_^

Paisley!
I remember that one of the comment a few posts back mentioned a metal paisley.
What do you think of this?
Leave me a comment to let me know and if I get 5 comments or more, I will post it up for download.
Thanks for your time to leave me some love here!
@Anna, I haven't forgot that you wanted swirls and I've got something waiting in the line for you. ^_^

My first kit
Work has been crazy this week.
And what happens when one's stressed at work?
Me, I go for lots of Nespresso at the office kitchen.
So, while sipping coffee and looking out of the office window, I decided to make something I have not made before.
And here it is, my first kit: Cafe Au Lait.
The pattern paper is made with a CU-free overlay from NibblesSkribbles.
Note that the word tags have been saved as 2 files instead of 6.
You can lasso individual tag and drag it to your layout.
Click on the preview to download and please leave me a message.
I love to get feedback, afterall, these are made for you.

My layout
This is how I used my "lollipop" photo-holder.
I'm sure there are other ways.... inspire me so that I can make more for you!
p.s. Any comments on the past 3 sets is greatly welcomed... e.g. is the "stick" part too thick? Do you prefer the brushed metal or the smooth silver or the slightly textured pewter? Do you like the little "surprise" in the zip file in Set2?

Metal lollipop?
I'm super excited to share this one!
Lollipop, anyone?
It's a spiral photo-holder and you can tuck photos between the swirls.
They are both in metal but one is more rounded and the other on is brushed flat.
Click on the preview to download!
Have fun and let me know how you use them.
Note:
I have no "formal" TOU as at now (am going to get one done soon).
Simply respect that I did spend some time making this and sharing it with you.
That is, do not claim it as your own creation.
Feel free to pass it on by making reference to my blog and if you use it in a kit, a credit to me would be nice.

Metal borders
I love borders but very often, the border(s) in a kit is either a doodle or stitches that may not go well with the photos or the theme you want.
So... I decided to make some metal borders!
I've got a few more metalised photo-holders coming up AND a template (Template #13) in the "warehouse" waiting to be "launched".
I'm sure all my recent muses came from all your kind comments. So please leave me more in the posts or the chat box.
I'll most probably post the next set of photo-holder within the next 24 hours.
So please remember to check out this space.

My first photobook
I finally received my first order from Shutterfly after a 2-week wait.
Last year, I printed my favourite layouts on photopaper in 6-inch size and paste them in an album.
This year, since I've decided to do the 365 project, I figured that I should have enough stuff to print on a quarterly basis.
It's a 33-page book which is a little thin for the spine I have designed.
Now that I know, maybe I should scrap more for this quarter!
Here's a layout for my photobook! (Yeah, that's how much I like it!)

New template
Here's a new template with 4 big photo slots.
You can put text in the cloud or in one or two of the photo slots.
So many variations!
The "cloud" layer is from the CU background (set name = "Clouds borders) by Irene V. Alexeeva (www.irenealexeeva.blogspot.com).
As usual, click on the preview to download.

New project
I started Project 365 since the beginning of this year and I'm sort of surprised that I'm still keeping to it after 3 months.
This is the first half of my April's template.
The idea is that there will be 4 pages for the month and after each week is passed, the page of the week, together with the date tab plus any elements that is hanging "outside" the page, will be "flipped" to the bottom of the stack.
In May, after I have "cleaned up" the templates of my elements, I will share it as a free template.
So do check back soon!

I'm not 100% satisfied with it, so I might change once I have some inspiration.
Linked to this preview is the free template for today.
Have fun playing and please show me your layout!

my chanel
I used Galiscrap's Inspiration kit for this layout and the filmstrip came from DoroScrap.
I thought I wouldn't give up my Chanel Chance Fraiche for Chance Tendre because they belong to the same "family".
But after 3 days of using Chance Tendre, I seriously doubt my abillity to allow 2 fragrance in my life at any point in time.

It's the end of a weekend
Time always passes so fast during the weekends.
This weekend, I cleaned my shoes cabinet and trashed 4-5 pairs of shoes.
The shelves are wiped clean and the remaining shoes are wiped/polished.
I am sort of glad that I'm not into branded shoes like Jimmy Choo or CL. Otherwise, I'll be a very broke girl.
Today's template is a bit tricky.
I wanted 2 photos under the left panel, but on top of the right panel.
AND I wanted 2 photos to be exactly opposite.
There may be some other trick in terms of layer sequence, but at the moment, I split the right panel into a top half and a bottom half.
Let me know what you think.

Photoshop fun
Well, I'm not an expert in Photoshop, but I enjoy learning the various tools of PS.
Today, I took a photo taken during a trip in Bali.
There was a stranger in the middle of the road and I snap the photo in a rush, without waiting for him to leave.
So, I decided to "remove" him now.
The result looks ok when the resolution is low, definitely not for printing nor looking @300%.
But I'm glad I had fun!
