June
I know it's not June yet but I have started making layouts for June so that I can just clip photos when I take them later.
Here's a half-translucent tag for June for you.
Click on preview to download.
Let me know if you like the layout in my previous post and I can decide if I should post it as a freebie template later.

Yummies from CottonCandy
I received some super cute stuff from CottonCandy yesterday.
They are so adorable and I thought I had to make a layout for them.
Note: If you like this layout, leave a note and I will post the template for download!
Top left: plastic bookmarks - the rabbit/cat sticks "outside" the book when you put the bookmark between a page
Top right: animal pens - love the rabbit/cat clip and the pens write so smoothly
Bottom left: stickers with travel theme... for France, Germany and Italy... with cartoons of each's famous place of interests and some phrases
Bottom centre+right: plastic see-through pouches which are perfect for packing stuff of all sizes for travel
I also receive a Nyokki Monkey which I intend to nurture at my office desk.
If all is good, I willl get this cute monkey with grass as "hair".
Isn't it cute?

The response to my previous template was overwhelming and I am sort of worried that the future templates will have a hard time catching up.
Here's a new one. Let me know what you think!

Metal stamp frame
Quite swamped with work this week so I didn't really have the heart to work on designing stuff.
Managed to get this one done though.
Click on preview to download.
It's going to be a long weekend here in Singapore as Friday is a public holiday for Vesak Day.
I hope I will have some inspiration to make something then.

Winning is not the end of the journey
I finally called the kit "Gagner" which means "win" in French.
It's a palette of black, light teal and some hint of yellow.
The bookplate is not attached to the ribbon-loop nor the string so you have the freedom to arrange them in whatever way you like.
Click on preview to download and remember to leave me some feedback.

Clean and simple
I appreciate very much about Shuckclod's comment on my stuff being clean and simple.
I like being simple without clutter. Yet, I'm a piscean, so sometimes I like fancy stuff... just that this part of me is not dominant when it comes to designing.
For frames, I hardly use round ones but I know many people like them.
Here's a triple-circle acrylic frame for you.
The special part? It has crystals on it!

Half a dozen...
Just a summary of my mini kits as at today.
If you missed any of them, just click on the screenshot or the label "kits" to check out each post for the link to download the kit.
The next kit will be out tomorrow.
I still can't decide the name... either "Gentil" which means "gentle/kind" in French (if I want to continue using French names) or....

Come what "May"
This one is to celebrate my 12th follower on the blog.
Nay, it's simply for all of you, especially those who left ♥♥ for me.
You see, I really enjoy doing this. I relaxes me after a day of office work.
And when I see you telling me how much you like something, I get all happy and excited.
I don't usually reply unless it's a question but that does not mean that I'm not reading them.
So keep them coming!
Here's something for your May's scrapbook.
One's in denim texture and the other is smooth cardboard style.
Click on the preview to download.
p.s. The font type is Pea Carolyn from Kevin&Amanda.

Fantasy
For this kit, I decided to make teal/brown/beige this time.
It's one of my favourite colour palette.
Click on preview to download and don't forget to leave me some ♥♥!
Now, my next kit's name has to start with "G"... but I can't think of any fun name to use!
I'm thinking of light teal, black and maybe a hint of bright yellow.
If you could suggest me a name, that will be wonderful! Thanks in advance!

I need a vacation!
Work has been really busy this week.
So even though I already have some ideas in my head, I need to find some time to sit down and get them out.
Bear with me, and I promise the new kit will be out soon.
As for templates, eversince the last one was so well-received, I've been putting pressure on myself to make even better ones. I don't want to disappoint so I'm trying to catch inspirations everywhere!
Meanwhile, here's one of my favourite "project".
Metal photoholders for PU/CU. For CU use, please make reasonable change if you are going to sell it as part of a kit, otherwise it's not fair to the other person.

Enchanté
The new kit is here! Un nouveau kit pour toi!
I called it "Enchanté" and yes, it's "Nice to meet you"!
(Not all computers can display the accent nicely so I have named the files as "Enchante".)
Bright orange for the blazing sun and hot summer.
There is felt paper, glitter curly bracket, silver heart-shape photoholder, acrylic hearts, plastic buttons etc etc.
I hope you like this kit and I'd love to see your comments!

Template #15 broke the 400-download record within 2 days and it's most probably going to be my most popular template (so far! cos I hope I can come up with more fun ones!).
I am now more motivated to design with more templates and freebies, so keep my blog in your google reader/rss/bookmark etc and always leave me ♥♥ because they are my muse!
A new mini-kit is coming and it's called "Enchanté" which means "Nice to meet you" in French.
It will be posted this weekend and its colour palette is orange which is great for summer.
Catch ya later!

Today is tomorrow's yesterday
Thank you to all who have left me comments!
I feel really good and motivated with your kind words.
Here's a new freebie kit, "Dernier".
I realised that I have done "A(mour) B(on Nuit) C(afe) D(enier)", so maybe I will do the "follow the alphabet" for my kits.
As usual, 2 papers, 7 elements and yes, click on the preview to download.
Have fun and please leave me some feedback/preference and ♥♥!

Template 14
I haven't been making template for a while.
When making templates to share, I always keep in mind that most scrappers, like me, already have tons of templates in their template folder and hence the template must be something really unique or have nice shadows/positioning that makes it worth downloading.
This template (#14) is a fairly simple 2X2 template with a mat behind.
The special points about this template is that the border is a silver metal border which you can use for other layouts AND I have warped the shadows for the photos layers.

Good night
I really enjoying making freebies stuff nowadays.
Sometimes, I have many ideas in my head and I just can't decide which ones to make first.
In the end, I end up making mini kits because that way, I can put many things into it.
Today, I made a mauve/pink kit called "Bon Nuit".
The string-bow and the button is not attached so you can use them separately.
Click on preview to download.
p.s. I know the comment vs download rate is often 1% or less but I would really appreciate it if you could leave a comment/feedback. It may sound silly but it lets me, a design beginner, knows if what I made is good enough. Thanks!

Amour Amour Amour
I came across a tutorial about making felt elements a few days back and was very excited with the results.
I decided to incorporate felt hearts into my new kit "Amour".
I like love to be deep, rich yet glowing in light.
This colour scheme gives me that feeling.
I hope you will like this kit... Let me know, yeah?

My sister who is running a webstore selling baby stuff has used my template #12 to create the advertisement for the store's latest photo contest.
This is so cute and I would like to share it with you.

May's 365 project
I bought some templates from Yin and have finished my pages for May's 365 project.
Yes, I usually make pages in advance (especially when I have new kits) so that I won't have to struggle when the month's over.
One kit is from Flergs and the other is a collab from Digi-Crea.
The "May" ink blot is from StolenMoments and I really like this ink-blot design.
There is also dates and years in the set. It comes with the iNSD grabbag and I'm going to use the kit in the grabbag very soon.

shopping crazily...
I have bought almost $100 worth of stuff at various digiscrap shops and can't wait to use them.
Have you shopping insanely like me too?
Here's a freebie for you to feel better about spending too much!
These were torn from my meeting notepad, scanned and then tinted with different shades.
Have fun with them!
p.s. My metal paisley is still waiting for your comments.... please click here and leave a note to tell me that you like it and want it.

iNSD
It's iNSD, is it "International Scrap Day"?
I'm shopping at Scrapmatters for grab-bags and most probably will check out Digi-Crea later.
Here's something for you to scrap an April's photo.
Click on the image to download.
The frames are of the same size, I just re-size one for the preview.'
Cheers.
